Welcome to SDSU Georgia, where the spirit of innovation, excellence, and global connection inspires every member of our community.

Since our launch in 2014, SDSU Georgia has brought the highest quality, accredited STEM education to the heart of Tbilisi in partnership with three of Georgia’s premier institutions: Tbilisi State University, Ilia State University, and Georgian Technical University. Offering internationally recognized Bachelor of Science degrees in Computer Science, Civil Engineering and Computer Engineering, our programs blend liberal arts curricula with rigorous technical training.

Our mission is simple yet powerful: to educate and inspire the next generation of Georgian STEM professionals who will shape the future of Georgia and influence the global workforce. Through modern laboratories, faculty development, and academic programming aligned with our San Diego campus, SDSU Georgia is redefining and empowering the future of Georgian higher education.

Since the first cohort in 2015, we’ve proudly graduated hundreds of STEM leaders into a workforce full of demand and opportunity. More than 70% immediately entered STEM careers, with the rest pursuing advanced study or careers in academia. Originally scheduled to sunset in 2023, SDSU Georgia’s success led SDSU and the Georgian Ministry of Education and Science to extend our partnership for an additional four years, affirming our shared commitment to education as a bridge between nations, cultures and economies.
